We usually avoid sneaking into the warehouse and opening tubs for reviews, but the day finally came when we said “f*ck it, let’s just open one”, and I couldn’t be happier! Since before we first got our hands on the product, some of us had been begging and pleading to get it to our store. I’ve heard and read reviews about some of Ghost Lifestyle’s flavors, and they had all piqued my interests about their products – so when they’re Ghost Gamer products first came out, I was ecstatic to try ‘em out!
However, the Ghost Gamer Warheads Sour Watermelon flavor was the one I really wanted to try out. I love sour candies, like warheads, AND watermelon! So already it checked most of my boxes for what makes a great flavor. That’s why I’m happy to now bring you this Ghost Gamer Warheads Sour Watermelon review! I’ll discuss and talk about the design, taste and the overall experience of this collaborative flavor.
Me personally, I think that Ghost Gamer overall has a solid design, with nice colors, neat patterns and solid materials for their tubs. However, compared to Ghost Gamer Peach and Ghost Gamer Blue Raspberry, Ghost Gamer Warheads Sour Watermelon is a step above. Clearly intentional, considering it’s a collaborative flavor, but that’s great anyway! You should be able to see the differences between originals and collaborated flavors from the get-go, in my opinion.
Everything to the color, to the overall print screams “WARHEADS!” and “CAUTION: SOUR”, and would make you turn your head if you were to pass by it among many other products/flavors on the shelf, which it honestly does in our warehouse. There is just something about it. The red, semi-transparent lid, which sits on top of the nicely designed peel-off seal, is also a nice touch, which brings it all together.
Let’s be honest, if you were to stumble upon this blog, it would most likely be because you would want to know, what does Ghost Gamer Warheads Sour Watermelon taste like? So let’s get to it!
It is sour, just not SUPER sour, like you’d expect from regular Warhead candies, but sour enough to meet most expectations. If you’ve seen Alex video review by now, you would know that it reminded him of those sour watermelon chewing gums, those that look like actual watermelons. If you haven’t tried them, just imagine a watermelon candy type flavor, combined with sour powder in the middle, made into a chewing gum. Sounds good, right?
When mixed with 2 scoops with 300 ml of water, the “standard” amount so to say, I did notice a slight chalkiness to the drink. I am, however, unsure if this is due to the amount of scoops with the small amount of water, or if it’s normal, like with GFUEL. It’s important to bring up, though!
Most people would look at Ghost Gamer’s flavors and be concerned with the small amount (compared to most other brands) of caffeine per scoop that you get. To that I say; it’s not the caffeine that would impact your gameplay the most, that would be the Nootropics! Ghost Gamer Warheads Sour Watermelon’s active ingredient NooLVL® is a clinically studied nootropic that is supposed to enhance your performance, honing in on your focus and reaction speed, thinks that would have a significant effect on your gameplay.
Now, did I feel increased focus? It’s hard to say, I didn’t really compare the before and after. However, I would claim to be feeling more alert, and slightly more energetic after consuming a full shaker. But it could also depend on the amount you drink, as well as your physique and/or susceptibility. So I’d recommend trying it out for yourself!

It really does have an amazing taste, something that Ghost has been known for a long time when it comes to all of the products they produce. Combined with a killer design that would stand out on any desk, and great active ingredients, that you can read on their open, transparent label. No gimmicks, no secrets.
