Time for a rogue energy review. Let’s go! Rogue Energy is one of the many energy powders that are available here at GamerBulk and you can see all the flavors that we have right here.
However, today’s review will make a deep-dive into the ingredients and flavors so that you can decide if this brand is the one for you.
Remember, seeing that there are SO many energy drink powders designed for gamers you need to actually look which one fits you, and it isn’t always straightforward.
So what to look for?
Simply said, you want to look into the ingredients, what is different, what’s the same? and how’s the quality. You of course want to know if it tastes good as well – which is highly subjective. Do you like drinks that contain crazy amount of sweetening or do you want one that is more herby and humble in its flavor. And in the end, you also want a product that fits your wallet-size!
Some Frequently Asked Questions
Let’s start with the frequently asked questions.
1. How much caffeine is in Rogue Energy?
175mg of caffeine in one serving. So for most, around two servings a day is max!
2. Do Rogue release new flavors often?
Rogue releases at a slower pace than it’s competitors but that has to do with them wanting to perfect it before being released to the public! You can found the most popular flavors here at GamerBulk.
3. Is the brand cheap or expensive?
Compared to both traditional energy drinks and the new powder based ones – this is definitely on the low-end. With servings that cost around €1 per serving.
4. Is Rogue Energy FDA-approved?
Just like any other dietary supplement, products like this does not require (nor can it get) approval from the FDA. However, the product is manufactured in FDA certified facilities.
What’s in Rogue Energy then?
Now, let’s hop into the ingredients. First of all Rogue Energy is completely sugar free. The company divides their active ingredients into the “Energy Complex” and the “Focus Complex” so let’s do the same.
Energy Complex
The energy complex is a 2g stack that includes:
- L-Carnitine Tartrate
- L-Citruline
- Taurine
- Glucuronolactone
- Caffeine
- Glycine
The ingredient stack aims to improve cognitive performance, reduce fatigue, improve sleep & mood and increase endurance. Great? Absolutely. Unfortunately the exact ratio of each ingredient is not disclosed which means the analysis here as we can’t jump into the serving-sizes of each ingredient and compare them to published scientific ingredients.
But the nootropics stack in the product is a really good one. If we had to point out a recommended change it would be to remove L-Citruline all together. The product is marketed towards gamers and this ingredient is better suited for the gym-shark.
All and all, the energy complex is impressive!
Focus Complex
The focus complex totals at 1.5g and consists of:
- N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
- L-Phenylalanine
- Choline L-Bitartrate
- Mucuna Pruriens
- Bacopa Monnieri
- L-Theanine
As usual, we always recommend having L-theanine in any focus stack that you want to buy! Unfortunately again, we can’t see the amount. Usual serving size is 200mg but we can not confirm the amount in Rogue Energy.
Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants
I’ll keep this paragraph short. Rogue Energy do have a lot of essential B vitamins, important to not feel fatigued. As an antioxidant boost they use Acai Berry Extract. You won’t find a decent mineral stack in the product though.
Rogue Energy vs Gfuel
As usual, a lot of you guys want to compare products with the titan Gfuel. There are some differences, and some similarities. We won’t pick a winner here, as both products are good, they are just different.
What differences?
The energy and focus complex in Rogue is similar in terms of ingredients to Gfuel, but the stack is larger in dosages and will work better for most people.
Gfuel however has a larger antioxidant stack which for some are more important.
The product is also cheaper than Gfuel but without compromising quality.
In the end, we always recommend trying more then one brand to see which is the best one for you!
Rogue Energy is NOW available for you to order here at Gamerbulk! Look for the different flavors in the store and as always, contact us with any and all questions.
